The Continental Breakfast Club series by Pamela Ford "Fresh Brewed" review

Breanna Mitchell is on her way to a relaxing vacation at the ocean. Maybe she'll even have a beachside fling to help her get over a recent breakup.

But when a tropical storm makes her destination hotel uninhabitable, a chance encounter at continental breakfast delivers a fabulous option—with a catch. She and her friends can stay at a privately-owned, three-story oceanfront home—if she pretends to be the girlfriend of the owner's heartbreaker grandson, Ethan. Since he won't even be there, how hard could it be?

Everything is going swimmingly until Bree drinks too much wine and regales the family with romantic tales about her relationship with Ethan. His adorable brother Adam gets suspicious. His marriage-minded grandma gets engagement fever. The beautiful woman next door gets teary-eyed.

And then, Ethan unexpectedly arrives. Suddenly Bree is about to get everything she's ever wished for—but is it what she really wants?

After the life threatening consequences in the first book of this series, you'd think the friends' enthusiasm for their Continental Breakfast Club (meet single men) idea might fade.
Not so much. Combined with a dream oceanfront vacation, the plan is infused with new energy- you might say of hurricane proportions. When a storm diverts their travel plans, the ladies take in a hotel continental breakfast, however this time no one meets a dream man.
All three meet Kristin, who does have two single, attractive, successful brothers! Plus a grandmother determined to continue the family legacy. When Kirstin introduces Bree to family and friends as absent brother Ethan's girlfried, how could it possibly backfire?
This book is a wonderful stand alone romantic comedy although I believe you will enjoy each book in this series.

Perhaps the wine was a bad idea. Instead of solving two problems, the dilemma deepens and comedy escalates as sexy brother, Adam, manages to spend close time with Bree, (need I add shirtless?) and Ethan's real friend-with-benefits unexpectedly arrives. You can cut the tension with a dessert knife!
Author Pamela Ford's power of description evokes strong emotions.
This book oozes romance - the trouble being who that chemistry is between.
Who will actually end up with a relationship for a lifetime?

This is the perfect read for the beach or in front of a relaxing fire. Puresweet chick lit fun for any women's book club.

I did receive a copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review.
I eagerly await the continuation of this rolicking series.
