Haunted Wishes

As they say. Life Happens, so please use your imagination and pretend the photos are better and I didn't lose the edited version

Once upon a time, in a strange enchanted forest, in a shiny little house on the hill

Lived a strange little couple who were still in love after hundreds of years.

Perhaps, because instead of redecorating and moving regularly, the whole mountain could just be relocated.

They had friends who would visit and

parties they were invited to.
but deep down, the woman was having baby dreams.
She wanted her own little darling to share her days.

It wasn't that her husband didn't want a child.
He dreamed of a strapping young lad he could cheer for on the sports field.

but as decades passed,  that dream had never come true.

Once they had even sought the wise counsel of a great pumpkin.

and had prophesy readings done regularly.

They had consulted with fairies

and for a while they had fostered twins.

You've heard it said that feeling like a family could make things happen.

But the dream still was not coming true.

(last minute photo borrowed from web)

A friend of the family spent hours searching the magical rock connection, trying to find a way to make them happy.

He suggested a meeting with the Magic Mouse.
Sadly, the mouse was unavailable. His service said family planning was not among his skillset.

One full moon evening, the couple decided to try one last time for their dream.

They knew a traveling witch and her apprentices would be passing through.
Perhaps they could help with this last wish.

The couple visited their Witchy Workroom and the wise witchy duck had a plan.
They built a colorful fire.
and she hatched a potion.

and the night sky lit up!

Could this be the time?
Never before had the loving couple had such a response to their dreams.

Things really seemed to be getting stirred up.

As  extra strength to the spell, other friends joined in offering music and treasure along with
 native words to the universe.

Only time will tell what this spell will hatch.....
