Decades later, having taken control of the remains of the crushed Fare, a young Marcus Pieman follows up on rumors of a homeless, teenage Abominator in his city. When the scared Nikolas Klaus looked up at Marcus for the first time, a tremendous bond was forged.
A betrayal leads Tee to a showdown with her greatest foe. Who breaks and who lays bleeding in the middle of nowhere?
And Mounira learns the truth about the once great inventor, Christophe Creangle.

What inspired you to write this book?
My daughter gave me the nudge to start writing The Yellow Hoods series, starting with Along Came a Wolf. In terms of The Wizard Killer, that was a nod to when I was a late teen and wrote "bubblegum superhero" serials.
What can we expect from you in the future?
Wow, where to start? Well, we've got more seasons of The Wizard Killer coming over the next two years. Also, in the fall, I'm releasing Tilruna - Season One, which is my debut fantasy space opera. Next year, Yellow Hoods fans can expect to see a novella or two, and then in 2019, I'll be releasing book 1 of a spin-off series from the world of The Yellow Hoods. And somewhere along the lines, I'm releasing a non-fiction book on hand-selling books, and need to get another tale in my Cloud 9 world out. If that sounds busy, I'm a man driven and inspired.
Do you have any “side stories” about the characters?
I do, and the first one I ever released was called Snappy and Dashing. It focuses on a secondary character, Richelle Pieman, after the events of Book 2 - Breadcrumb trail. I'm planning on releasing a few more novelettes and novellas in that world over the next two years.
Where were you born/grew up at?
I was born in England, but we moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada when I was two. Despite spending 17 years there, it never quite felt like home, likely having a lot to do with the anti-English politics and bubbled up regularly.
If you knew you'd die tomorrow, how would you spend your last day?
I'd have a tranquil day, spending time with my wife and three kids, making sure that I gave each of them some one on one time.
Who is your hero and why?
I don't have a specific hero, someone whom I am trying to live up to.  After coming out of 15 months of horrible scar pain and being left with chronic pain, then fighting through being hit with an inflammatory disease and severe asthma, I came to appreciate the heroism of regular people who don't just accept how things are. People like my friend, author, and marathon runner Martin Parnell who after a nearly crippling brain issue, fought back and now is preparing to run a 150km ultra-marathon.

Adam Dreece kicked off his indie author career with his best-selling steampunk meets fairy tale series, The Yellow Hoods, which struck a chord with kids 9-15 and adults. After four books in the series, the former software architect put out two more young adult books, the post-apocalyptic fantasy book The Wizard Killer – Season One, and then his science fiction novel, The Man of Cloud 9. The first two novels in The Yellow Hoods series, as well as The Wizard Killer, have been finalists for Book of the Year awards from the Independent Author’s Network.
When he’s not working on his next book, Adam can be found giving talks at schools, libraries, associations, as well as comic-con type events like CalgaryExpo and FanExpoCanada on subjects from how to get one’s ideas out and stepping outside of one’s comfort zone, to how to give a successful book signing.
Along the way, Adam has faced many challenges, including working around his Dyslexia (reading and writing disorder), and needing to be ruthless with his time and energy in face of his severe asthma and chronic abdominal scar pain. He’s become an inspiration to some, and a symbol of tenacious hard work to others.
He lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his wife and children. He is an active online mentor at adamdreece.com, and is a busy public speaker, panelist, and author in Canada and the Pacific Northwest.
