She shares her life and home with good friends who seem to understand her. Her brother has recently moved in, not really by choice, and is discovering he has some special talents of his own. Deanna is trying to protect him and allow him to learn his gifts at an acceptable pace. Frankie feels she is s/mothering him.
When a friend of Ivy and Brody shows up with a major ghostly problem, de wants to help. The trouble is she also wants to protect Frankie and the person she needs to help doesn't want her interference. Is that because he is being manipulated by something otherworldly?

This is a series unlike any other I have found. It deals with difficult topics, in both (or more) dimensions. Paranormal, historical, political and personal.
