This does make for a wonderful holiday read, running from early autumn through Christmas. It is a story about family, love, friendship and so much more. Sweetness and romance are offset by tragedy and loss. Sisters who care about each other but are so very different and who, along with their mother, are grieving each in her own way.
Trying to move forward is difficult. Remembering the past can be painful.

Loss and love and possibility are all aspects of this special novel.

Jess doesn't expect her successful big sister home for the holidays. Their father disappeared several years ago and their Mum is in a new relationship. She, Jess, had a disappointing relationship, and wonders if she will ever feel ready for another.
