We all know that gratitude is an advantageous mindset, yet it always seems that the less positive aspects of life take center stage. How can one remind themselves to look for the upside in each day? Journaling can sometimes appear as a daunting task. A blank page can be intimidating.

Actually, after a couple of weeks I looked forward to the time of day when I would sit with this journal and my thoughts.

And this has spurred me to keep more in touch with loved ones who I do not see as often as I would like

The prompts are not carved in stone. After using them "as is" a while you can adjust them or use those that work best for you. You may even find yourself adding some prompts of your own.

Author Bio –
Mariëlle S. Smith is a coach for writers and
other creatives, an editor, and a (ghost) writer. Early 2019, she moved to
Cyprus, and island in the Mediterranean Sea, where she organises private
writer’s retreats, is inspired 24/7, and feeds more stray cats than she can count.
