KittyKai's Easter Mystery: A Cobble Cove Story
Cozy Mystery Story 4th in Story Series
Publisher: Solstice Publishing
Number of Pages ~55

During an Easter egg hunt at the Cobble Inn, a ring is found on the grounds by Alicia’s daughter, Carol. When the sheriff has it examined, he discovers it belonged to him and Gilly’s neighbor, Gretchen Miller, who disappeared the month before. An investigation leads to the discovery of Mrs. Miller’s body buried on the site of the inn’s new construction.

As Alicia and Gilly set out to solve this new mystery despite their husbands’ discouragement, Sneaky and Kittykai, the library and inn cats, secretly lend them a paw.

This is a quick book, catching up with Sneaky, the library cat, and partner in crime detection to KittyKai, the hotel cat. While the two men of their households have investigative jobs, it is the women who follow the clues and work hardest at solving mysteries.
KittyKai and Sneaky have their own methods and manage to know how to get around.

It is springtime and the Cobble Cove Inn has been closed while the family went on vacation.
Renovations are being completed and an Easter Egg hunt provides entertainment for kids of all ages.
A found diamond ring is the stimulus to look into a missing person's right here at home.

When a body is found, the ladies and cats can not contain their curiosity and dig deep to find dirt on a little known neighbor and a disgruntled family member.

This is a light, breezy read. While a clean mystery, some of the information dug up is of  a seedier nature.
When the crime is solved, this time without putting the cats in direct danger, there is something of a happy ending.
