Tip toe, tip toe, crackle, crunch!

Chipper the Fox sneaks through the forest to spread cheer to his weary friends. Will his merry making be a success? Or will a smelly fish disaster and a log pile tumble ruin his plans?

“Chipper Makes Merry” takes you on Chipper’s arctic quest filled with lessons of love, kindness and determination.

From the front cover to back, this is a wonderful book.

I like the look and feel of the book. It has a positive message and is fun to read.

With wonderful rhyme and a fun refrain for kids to join in on as you read, this book about a fox and his friends will be enjoyed time and again.

Little children won't be able to wait until they can read these words themselves. This is bound to be a favorite for sure.

I also enjoyed seeing the secret message the author left in the illustrations for those most important to her. Maybe it will inspire you to create a special message!

As an avid, lifelong reader I have enjoyed books from an early age. I loved the library and curling up on the couch in the living room as a child and as a teenager. I still curl up with a delightful book, but gone are the childlike days of no obligations and sometimes finding time to get lost in a good book is limited. But if I had childlike time, I would reread so many of my favorites from then. Top of my list would be everything by Judy Blume, who was my clear favorite author and could make me laugh at all the adventures of Peter Hatcher and his little brother, Fudge. The poetry by Shel Silverstein in A Light in the Attic and Where the Sidewalk Ends, I can still recite aloud. The Oompa Loompas and Grandpa Joe in Charlie in the Chocolate Factory are still vivid in my mind and look nothing like they did in the subsequent movie releases. Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day has provided my life with a helpful parenting motto that not everything will always work out and “some days are just like that.” I loved so many books growing up and I am excited to have found a way to be an author myself. I hope with my books, I can give a child a sliver of what I received from the many great reads of my life.

Meet the Author:

Morgan is a fun wife, and imperfect mom of 3 crazy kiddos and 2 little lemon (problematic) dogs. She tries to live her strengths the best she can. She likes to say she is creative, not crafty. Morgan is a homemade Halloween costume type of mom. She lets her kids mix the play doh. She bakes fun birthday cakes (cutely, but far from perfection). She loves a homemade valentine and a school project. Chipper the Fox is an extension of Morgan's creative strength. Originally designed as character to create merry during the holiday season, Chipper has grown and developed into a story of determination and love.
