Born and raised in Bulgaria, Diana Aleksandrova moved across the ocean in pursuit of the American dream, only to realize that her dream was not limited to any one country, or even continent. Rather, it was within her all along.
Diana finds joy in creating stories that make kids of all ages laugh-out-loud, open up their minds and hearts, and let their imaginations run freely.

What made you write Mother's Love?
I try to write what I am passionate about. We can all agree that there is no stronger feeling than a mother's love for her child. That has been an inspiration for many poems, songs, books, and movies. It's a universal theme. I wanted to write a book on the subject, but with my personal twist. My love for animals and interest in their behavior presented me with the perfect opportunity to blend both themes. I have always been fascinated with the animals' world and love to read curious facts about the different species. And let's be honest, who doesn't like cute baby animals? I told myself how about writing a book about how animal moms take care of their babies and show their dedication and love. And that is how Mother's Love was born. Mother's Love is a way for a mother to tell her child he is loved through fascinating actual facts for all the different animals featured in the book.
